Vermilion (my composing/performing duo with Oran Johnson) will be performing at this year’s Lambeth Fringe Festival.

Vermilion was born of a desire to combine our classical training with rock and pop influences. With Vermilion, we try to create music that combines guitar riffs, glitchy beats, and luminous harmonies. At this show, you can expect classical chamber-music intimacy combined with the energy of a rock gig.

After making our debut in May at SmallRoom Arts, we are so excited to bring you an hour-long show of entirely original music. You can expect guitars, keyboards, electronics, and the sheer delight of Ally London’s voice. Among other pieces will be my song cycle Four Garden Songs, which was written especially for Vermilion.
